  1. I am confused. WHy would Plant and Kraus win for an album that released in October 2007, when they won last year for a song on the same album. Isn't the grammy based on the past year performance, ie 2008 ?

  1. i admit i haven't heard the album(?) but i was unimpressed with the Plant/Krause song not to mention the amateur and awful guitar playing of T-bone Burnett. Honestly am i out to lunch? I'm assuming there are many better choices for album of the year. Oh well at least it wasn't Coldplay

  1. OK here's my rant. U2 shut up i don't care to hear their version of how the world should be unless they donate all their money instead of telling me to and the last good music from them was when? Sheryl Crow have you every missed an award show or festival? i won't even discuss her music. Sir Paul, i thought you'd win an award, isn't that how it works perform on stage and get an award. Score 1 for the Grammy's ,no award for Paul! Who told Justin T. he can sing? He can't. Plant Krauss i don't get it! Cold Play Yuck!!! I was always curious about Radio Head not anymore, they might as well of played Fleetwood Mac's Tusk. It sucked! i know there are very talened people out there why don't they get nominated instead of theses has beens and phonies

  1. I think M.I.A. was overlooked... not for the award, but on camera during her performance. I mean, don't you think she should have gotten more camera time for what she did last night?

  1. Hey Rita,

The eligibility period was from Oct. 1, 2007 to Sept. 30, 2008.
