Steely Dan Headed for Hub Residency

Steely Dan is coming to Boston and the famed jazz-rockers are going to set a spell. In the course of their upcoming "Rent Party '09" tour, Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are doing a series of special set list residencies in four cities and Boston is one. (New York, L.A., and Chicago are the others).
The shows will be July 22, 24, and 25 at the Citi Wang Theatre and each night will offer a different menu. On the 22nd the Dan will play *"Aja" in its entirety, on the 24th "Gaucho," and on the 25th they'll do "Takin' It to the Seats Internet Request Night," where the set list is determined by online votes from ticket-holders for that show.
Ticket prices are yet-to-come but there will be multi-night packages available when tickets go on sale June 6. For more info, head over to the Steely Dan website.
*Update: Oops, "Sound Effects" apologizes for its date dyslexia. This item originally had the "Aja" and "Gaucho" nights reversed. The above is correct.
Also, for those who expressed concern, on the nights where the band is doing a full album they're also doing "selected favorites."

Gaucho?!!! They should do "The Royal Scam". Now that, and "Aja", would be something.
This is good news.
Short sets if they are only playing one album each night. And disappointing.
I thought a residency was when someone stays there for an extended period of time. A three set stay isn't much of a "residency".
This could be the show of the year
According to steelydan.com, Aja will actually be performed on the 22nd and Gaucho on the 24th
Boston got Royally Scammed in only getting 2 classic album nights instead of 3 like Chicago, LA, & NYC. Still, the Internet Request night is a hot idea. I hope the votes turn out an awesome setlist.
I like Gaucho and would actually enjoy seeing it performed live. Judging from the vibe of their last few tours and (Fagen's EXCELLENT '06 solo tour), they're not up for kicking out the all-out rock of anything from The Roal Scam or prior.
