Amanda Goes Pop(s) on New Year's Eve

Amanda Palmer and the Boston Pops are doing it again, this time on New Year's Eve. The erstwhile Dresden Doll will join Keith Lockhart and the orchestra on Thursday, December 31, at 10 p.m., to ring in the New Year at Symphony Hall. Doors will open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45 to $160 and go on-sale beginning Tuesday, October 6, at 10 a.m. at www.bostonpops.org, 617-266-1200 or 888-266-1200, and the Symphony Hall Box Office. Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. or through intermission on Saturday.
