Tenacious D cleans up language for 'Letterman'
In advance of Tenacious D's new album "Rize of the Fenix," the comedic band posted a very funny, very explicit short film (viewers, be warned) last week to accompany the song "Roadie," starring "Eastbound & Down" actor Danny McBride as the stagehand. Last night, Jack Black and Kyle Gass cleaned up their act and performed the song on the "Late Show With David Letterman."
With a lot of clever substitutions, the clean version may be even funnier than the original. However, the duo's normally foul mouths apparently inspired Letterman's own naughty language, as he is bleeped during the band's introduction. Take a look at the clean performance.
