Karmin, the indie-pop duo of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, is movin' on up to the big leagues. The pair, who met at Berklee College of Music before catapulting to national success last year, has won Rolling Stone's contest to grace the cover of the magazine's "Women Who Rock" issue. It'll be on newsstands this Friday.
Rolling Stone has the story of how Karmin did it, plus a very sweet video that captures Noonan and Heidemann hearing the good news. It's another highlight of a big year for the band, including its performance on "Saturday Night Live" in February and the May release of a new EP, "Hello."
