The Hub is buzzing with excitement leading up to tonight's Boston Strong concert to benefit victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The lineup was announced less than a month ago, featuring Aerosmith, James Taylor, New Kids on the Block, and more. One of the big local bands missing from the original ticket was Dropkick Murphys, but local car megadealer Ernie Boch, Jr. sent his private jet to retrieve the band, just to play the show. If that doesn't say Boston Strong, we don't know what does.
Check out the video below for more details on the event.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, New Kids on the Block members Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood, and country artist Jason Aldean took to Twitter to talk about the concert and "Boston Strong" message.
The tickets sold out in a flash (5 minutes to be exact), leaving fans like Caitlyn Brundage in the cold (or heat if you're looking at today's weather).
