"Has Anyone Ever Written..." about Joe Walsh

  • Next
  • Previous
Also writing in the face of tragedy, Stevie Nicks gave Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh a sympathetic note with "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You?" Walsh had lost his daughter, Emma, in an automobile accident a decade earlier, and had even written her "Song for Emma," when Nicks penned the tune. She sings, "Has anyone ever written anything for you / In all your darkest hours / Have you ever heard me sing / Listen to me now / You know I’d rather be alone / Than be without you."
