"Heart-Shaped Box," "Let it Die" about Courtney Love

  • Next
  • Previous
Consider Courtney Love the anti-muse. Lately, the Hole front woman has been fuming to Howard Stern that Foo Fighters front man (and former Nirvana drummer) Dave Grohl has written songs about her, including this year's "Let It Die." The grudge, of course, is an after effect of her marriage to Nirvana leader Kurt Cobain and the ensuing legal battles between Love and Cobain's band mates after the singer's death. She is also rumored to have inspired the Nirvana tune, "Heart-Shaped Box."
