"Cry Me a River" about Britney Spears?

In the "anger" category, you can also find Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River," for which he won the 2004 Best Male Pop Performance Grammy Award. Though Timberlake has said the song was not about his very recent split with Britney Spears, the music video said otherwise. "I put these details in that he enjoyed," the video's director, Francis Lawrence, told MTV.com. The details included a reference to Spears' tattoo. But fans point to the lyrics as proof of the Spears inspiration: "Now there's just no chance, for you and me, there'll never be / And don't it make you sad about it."
