Letting music go free

For 13 years, Sebastian Ruth has been offering free music lessons in Providence to children who can't afford them.
What the Brown University graduate started with a $10,000 grant has flourished into a 13-person paid staff with a $750,000 annual budget.
His program, Community MusicWorks, will be honored Wednesday at the White House as one of 15 recipients of a National Arts and Humanities Youth Programs Award.
