Maria Muldaur sits in the shadows. When babies started arriving, Betsy Siggins (who was married to Bob Siggins of the Charles River Valley Boys) shared child care with Muldaur (then wife of Geoff Muldaur, a member of Jim Kweskin’s Jug Band). “If you didn’t like a community, you really didn’t want to play at the club,” says Siggins.
