Club Passim's archived history

This Club Mount Auburn 47 calendar from September 1962 is the only known image of the façade of the original club at 47 Mount Auburn St. This is the first calendar designed by Club 47 manager Byron Linardos, with additional artwork by Steve Karlsson, and includes September’s “folk program” talent, as well as listings of other cultural programming and information about the club’s nonprofit status and how to apply for membership. Being a nonprofit folk club in 1962 was innovative. Today, Club Passim is again a nonprofit and in January 2008, the Cambridge Historical Commission hung a blue historical marker on the site of the original club as part of 50th anniversary celebrations.
