Bono — also known for his humanitarian efforts — visited a prenatal HIV clinic in South Africa in May, 2002. Bono and then U.S. Treasury Secretary, Paul O'Neill (not pictured), met with some of the patients who are among the millions infected with HIV in South Africa as part of their 10-day tour of the continent.
