In concept, this mind-boggling mix of indie punk, Afro-pop, and Ivy League pretentiousness should be unlistenable. But despite name-checking Peter Gabriel and falling into the dreaded Upper West Side Soweto category, Vampire Weekend's aggressive pop is dangerously addictive.
