Interpol frontman Paul Banks 'Live in the Lab' on Monday, Oct. 1, 3 p.m.
Paul Banks, lead singer of the New York City indie rock staple Interpol, will showcase his solo talents Live in the Lab on Monday at 2 p.m. sharp. Banks's solo effort, aptly named "Banks", is set to be released on October 23. Be sure to check out his goods on Monday at our Live in the Lab page. Bookmark that page for future use, please, as all our Live in the Lab performances will take place there (boston.com/liveinthelab).
This is Banks's second solo effort, but first under his actual name. In 2009, he released an album under the moniker Julian Plenti titled "Julian Plenti is ... Skyscraper". Interpol was originally formed in 1997, and first performed at Luna Lounge along with other notable bands such as The Strokes.
Check out a behind-the-scenes look at Banks preparing for his first shows promoting the new solo effort, produced by Noisey.
