RadioBDC's Hurricane Playlist
So Hurricane Sandy brought the rain and wind and wreaked a bit of havoc in the Boston area. Adam 12 used his 4:00 Free-For-All as a vehicle to spin some Sandy-inspired selections. Turned out to be quite a list; enjoy!
Have to start the set with The Hold Steady "Hurricane J". Sure, "Rock You Like A Hurricane" would be a nice fit, too. Or even "Wind Of Change." But we're not in the Scorpions business here at RadioBDC.
Then, of course, the "rain" songs:
Of course, with the rain comes the storm surge, so...
Kidding! But hey, why not a set of surf-inspired songs, right?
Modest Mouse "Ocean Breathes Salty"
Oh, and don't forget this gem:
Now, with all that wind and rain, folks are bound to be left in the dark. This next set is for those unlucky souls. Hope you had plenty of candles in your 'hoods!
The Black Keys "When The Lights Go Out"
Bombay Bicycle Club "Lights Out, Words Gone"
Every storm, however, must pass. Even "superstorms." Hope you enjoyed our playlist. Feel free to pass it along!
