The Coachella Music and Arts festival: What can no longer be contained to a three-day festival has become a two-week spectacular uniting music fans from across the globe in the California desert.

My first trip to Indio was in 2004 when I watched Radiohead and The Pixies play amazing back-to-back sets from Coachella's Main Stage. I saw The Strokes perform their unforgettable comeback set in 2011. And this year, one of my all-time favorite bands will perform – perhaps the most influential band in my life – The Stone Roses.

On April 10, the RadioBDC team and I will pack up our gear and trek 2,914 miles across the country to turn a quiet vacation home into our broadcast hub: the RadioBDC/Sapporo Headquarters.

Can you just imagine this pool surrounded by beer and rock stars?

Watch as we bring Live in the Lab to the West Coast and stream live interviews and performances by your favorite BDC bands/artists right here on Boston.com. Listen as we ask the bands your questions from Facebook and Twitter. And stay connected, as we cover this year's festival like never before, getting you as close as possible to being there with us, without having to bring your own tent.

Join RadioBDC at the Sapporo House by checking in at Boston.com/radio.

Listen live and listen often – you never know who may just drop in.
