Believers in breakfast as the most important meal can celebrate at Dot 2 Dot Cafe, on Dot Ave. Over 5 1/2 years, Karen Henry-Garrett has created a menu that melts from breakfast to brunch and lunch and on Friday includes dinner that she tries to link to an event or music. Fluffy, moist brioche French toast comes with fruit and if that’s not enough, whipped cream. Eggs, omelets (the D2D has onions, peppers, mushroom and cheese), scrambled tofu, vegan options, pancakes (with fruit or eggs, sausage or bacon or with just real syrup), Irish breakfast (bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, black and white pudding) and a child-size order all are prepared from scratch.
