Devra First is the restaurant critic and food reporter for The Boston Globe. Prior to that, she was an editor in the Globe's Living/Arts department and a regular contributor to the Cheap Eats and Sauce columns. She has also worked at the Boston Phoenix. First attended Grinnell College in Iowa and grew up in New York. She currently lives in Boston.
