Redd’s in Rozzie
This Roslindale restaurant is ultra-local, both in terms of the ingredients it uses and the customers it serves. Chef Charlie Redd cooks creative comfort food with a Southern accent: wild mushrooms with cheese grits souffle; grilled trout with mashed potatoes, mustard greens, and pecan butter. There are house cocktails, microbrews, and interesting wine selections. Nothing costs more than $20.
