CLAM CHOWDER
Good chowder is surprisingly hard to come by. Its so often gloppy or bland. At the Blue Ox in Lynn, chef-owner Matt ONeil applies fine-dining experience from the likes of Prezza and No. 9 Park to crowd-pleasing dishes. His clam chowder is rich and smoky with applewood bacon.
