If you're a Bostonian, there's a good chance you've heard of the band Dropkick Murphy's. Either way, stop by McGreevey's on the eve of St. Patrick's day — Monday, March 16 — to meet the band. Then return to the pub the next day — yes, St. Patrick's Day! — for a full-on celebration. While there will not be any changes to the traditional menu, it has "Irish" written all over it. Dishes include traditional Irish boxty and Guinness beef stew. McGreevey's will also serve a drink called the "Dropkick Murphy," which consists of Jameson, Chambord, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice shaken. If that doesn't scream "Irish," then what does?
McGreevey's will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; food will be served until 11 p.m. There will be no cover charge.
