Fallout 3 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) One of the best video games ever made. You begin this post-nuclear war story in an underground vault, safe from the radioactive wasteland outside. Without warning, your father ventures out into the elements, and you follow. Fallout 3 is an audio/visual masterpiece, with a ghostly re-creation of a bombed-out Washington, D.C. It's also bloody, violent, and filled with foul language, so it's not for kids. What it is, however, is an instant classic.
