Controversial flicks, annulled nuptials, and a novelty act referred to as 'the Hong Kong Ricky Martin' were all part of an interesting election year in the world of entertainment. Some highlights included: Mel Gibson's 'Passions of the Christ' and Michael Moor'e 'Farenheit 9/11' accounted for 5 percent of domestic movie revenues; Donald Trump found another gold mine in reality TV; An American Music Awards clean-up and eight Grammy nominations for Usher; William Hung was the joke that wouldn't go away; and ... of course ... the areola heard 'round the world.
