Saw the Gold Dust Orphans' "Phantom of the Oprah" last night -- a hoot, especially after having watched many rehearsals while writing the preview feature, but I'll leave it to my colleague Sandy Macdonald to write the full review. But the Orphans (wisely, I admit) cut one number after I'd seen it. So in case you're longing for the "Oprah Polka," here's their inspiration: the dismayingly sincere original version.
