Actor Corey Haim dies at 38

Corey Haim, actor and 1980s teen heartthrob who never could reach the Brat Pack-level stardom of his peers, has died in California at the age of 38. An autopsy will reportedly determine the cause of death.
Haim rose to fame by starring in movies such as "Lucas" and 1987's "The Lost Boys," and "License to Drive," but the actor struggled later in his career with substance abuse. "Lucas" also featured a number of actors who would go on to fame, including Jeremy Piven, Charlie Sheen, and Winona Ryder.
The Canadian-born Haim, however, struggled after his early films. He was often confused with another acting Corey from the same generation, Corey Feldman, and the two teamed up a few years ago with an A&E reality show called "The Two Coreys." It was canceled in 2008 after two seasons. (Check out Haim's full filmography and view photos of Haim through the years.)
We'll post more on Haim's career shortly.
