Carmel O'Reilly and Karen MacDonald will join Eric C. Engel in directing this summer at Gloucester Stage. Engel, the company's artistic director, will open the season with Alan Ayckbourn's "Table Manners" (the first in the "Norman Conquests" trilogy), with a terrific cast: Lindsay Crouse, Paula Plum, Richard Snee, and Steven Barkhimer. He'll then direct two more: "Tender," a new play by Kelly Younger, and "Trying," Joanna McClelland Glass's tale of a retired jurist and his young assistant. Next, a double bill: O'Reilly directing Nancy E. Carroll in John Millington Synge's "Riders to the Sea" and Cindy Lou Johnson's "Brilliant Traces." The season ends with MacDonald's production of Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband," featuring Lewis D. Wheeler. Get more information here soon.

Does Lady Gaga empower gay fans, or patronize them? And where'd I put the remote control? If you love knowing about the latest in movies, TV, music and social media - and analyzing the politics of The Apprentice - grab a seat with "Media Remix."
