Brush up your Klingon, plus local indie opera
Boston's indie opera scene is alive and kicking, despite the downturn. Two plucky local companies -- Guerilla Opera and Opera Hub – have announced their fall seasons.
Both have adventurous productions to offer, but can they compete with this? Wired.com reports on the new Klingon Opera that's heading to our planet, with plans to touch down – where else? – in the Netherlands. An invitation was beamed into space.
