Levine withdraws from today's BSO matinee, Newhouse to conduct

James Levine has withdrawn from today's matinee performance of Mahler's Ninth Symphony. He will be replaced by Sean Newhouse, one of the BSO's two assistant conductors, who led last night's performance in Symphony Hall.
