The greatest movie in the history of film -- we are talking about "Blade Runner," of course -- could soon become an entire universe. Director Ridley Scott has updated his film a few times since its 1982 release, with an "international cut," "a director's cut," and finally, in 2007, a "final cut." But now, according to MTV.com, Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment are in final negotiations to turn "Blade Runner" into a franchise that could include television and movie prequels and sequels as well as a line of video games and social network platforms.
