No tweeting? What's next, no poking, either?

Free-Tweeting-Twitter-Bird-Icon.gifDon't laugh. Apparently a protocol guide more than 30 pages long has been handed out to guests coming to the Royal wedding. And while the family is fine with streaming the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton live on YouTube Friday morning, they are not fine with anybody tweeting details about the biggest wedding since time began. Read the details here.

Organizers of the wedding are setting up a technology that blocks cell phone signals in Westminster Abbey. I suppose at least that reduces the chance of somebody's Lady Gaga ring tone chirping just as the happy couple walks down the aisle. But come on, isn't that what we were all secretly hoping would happen?

Oh well. The ban will stretch from early Friday all the way through the end. One more reason to get up at 4 a.m. and watch it all. Or not
