"The Auerbach Dynasty,'' a solo play about legendary Celtics coach and general Red Auerbach, will be performed at the Charles Mosesian Theater in the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown from June 22 to July 4.

The one-man show, written and directed by longtime Auerbach friend Ken Dooley, ran for several weeks in April at the Park Theatre in Cranston, part of the Rhode Island Center for the Performing Arts.

Jeff Gill, who played Auerbach in the Cranston production, will also play the role at the Mosesian Theater.

In a recent story, I interviewed Dooley about what prompted him to write "The Auerbach Dynasty'' and described the reaction of Red's daughter and granddaughter when they attended a performance of the play.
