'Cinderella Rocks,' 'Macbeth' give traditional theater a jolt

In the past two weeks I've been to the opulent Wang Theatre to see ballet. And to the elegant Cutler Majestic Theatre for opera. But the two most emotionally engaging, artistically fulfilling experiences I've had during that time were in a gay bar behind Fenway Park and at a faded auditorium in a dreary section of Holyoke.
