Exhibit revisits raw intimacy of Goldin's images
In one photo by Nan Goldin, the artist's lover Siobhan sits nude on the end of a bed, one arm crossed protectively over her belly. She looks directly into Goldin's lens, her face sober, as if acknowledging the hard mix of intimacy and public revelation that is part of the bargain of getting close to Goldin.
