COMEDY

Always time to be funny

Email|Print| Text size + By Nick A. Zaino III
Globe Correspondent / January 21, 2008

Mike Epps keeps a busy schedule, appearing in films such as next month's ensemble comedy "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins," as well as the darkly comic "Next Day Air" and the improv-based "The Grand," both due out later this year. But Epps, who also had costarring roles in the "Friday" and "Resident Evil" series, never left the comedy clubs behind. Epps brings his rough-edged, impish humor to the Comedy Connection tonight for the second half of a two-night stand. 7 p.m. $40. Comedy Connection, Faneuil Hall, 2nd floor Quincy Market Building, Boston. 617-248-9700. comedyconnectionboston.com
