Identity theft

Globe Staff / January 25, 2008

Imagine waking up with a stranger in a strange house on top of a mountain surrounded by water. This is pretty unusual (except for the first part, right?), but it's exactly what happens to Moss and Avis in "Body of Water." The pair (Elizabeth Brunette and Anthony Dangerfield, right) who have lost their long-term memory, are visited by a mysterious young woman who changes their story each time she stops by. Playwright Lee Blessing's point is that without memory, life is an ongoing stream of possibilities. The drama is presented by Molasses Tank Productions and Charlestown Working Theater. Thu-Sat at 8 p.m. (through Feb. 9). $15, $18. Charlestown Working Theater, 442 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown. 866-811-4111. charlestownworkingtheater.org
