Fountain of youth
"Presumed Innocence: Photographic Perspectives of Children," an exhibit of 114 photographs and one video by artists ranging from Sebastiao Salgado to Sally Mann, lets us see familiar images afresh. More important, it lets us see images of childhood afresh. At the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, through April 27. 781-259-8355, decordova.org.

To market, to market
"Branded and on Display" gathers work by several artists who look critically at the hard sell. The show begins to strip away - in provocative if sometimes pedantic ways - the hallucination that branding and advertising constantly build up. At the Tufts University Art Gallery, Aidekman Arts Center, Medford, through March 30. 617-627-3518, ase.tufts.edu/gallery.
