Bear with him

Globe Staff / March 3, 2008

Aaron Demuth, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate who works for Harmonix Music Systems (they make Guitar Hero), opens an art show at ZuZu today. The untitled show is basically a collection of paintings of sad bears. Demuth says that if you look closely, you'll find a few bears that aren't miserable. "When you see one of the bears is smiling, it makes it all worth it," he told us in an e-mail. The show is up through March 31. If you head to the opening tonight, you'll hear some fun music, which should make up for the bear depression, Demuth says. 8 p.m. ZuZu, 474 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. 617-864-3278. mideastclub.com
