Oh brotherhood, where art thou?

Globe Staff / March 24, 2008

As a kid, we were fascinated by the Masons - our father's fraternal organization - so we went through his desk looking for information about the secret signs and rituals (sorry, Dad). We found nothing, but there's a lot to find at "The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts: Celebrating 275 Years of Brotherhood" at the National Heritage Museum. More than 150 objects are on display, including a ladle made by member Paul Revere, plus photos and documents from the Grand Lodge's history. Today's hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington. 781-861-6559. nationalheritagemuseum.org
