Remember when you brought art projects home from school and Mom would put them on the refrigerator, making you feel like a budding Goya? Now you can thank Mom for her encouragement by buying her the real thing - Goya's 18th-century etching "El Amor y la Muerte (Love and Death)," (detail above) is one of the thousands of works on paper for sale at the Boston Print Fair. The Goya is $3,500, but if your trust fund check hasn't arrived yet, there are plenty of other items to fit a smaller budget. Choose from prints, drawings, watercolors, pastels, photos, posters, and maps from the Renaissance to the present. Today from 5-9 p.m. (runs through Sunday ). $200 and up. Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St., Boston. 617-266-6540. bostonprintfair.com
