If Mitchel Ahern comes for dinner, hang on to your dish towels. The Swampscott artist has been known to make prints on them, as he did in his "On the Road Scrolls" (right) based on Jack Kerouac's book. His prints are on display with pieces by 11 other contemporary New England artists and artist teams at the 2008 DeCordova Annual Exhibition in Lincoln. Boston's Niho Kozuru creates sculptural forms from rubber; her "Liquid Sunshine" looks like a Jell-O mold. Somerville's Matt Brackett contributes "Threshold," an allegorical-esque oil painting of a young couple on a cliff. Today's hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (show is up through Aug. 17. Free reception Thursday 6-9 p.m.). $12, $8 seniors, students, ages 6-12. DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, 31 Sandy Pond Road, Lincoln. 781-259-8355. decordova.org
