A love/love relationship

The folks who wrote the musical "She Loves Me," and the song of the same name, have a thing for love. Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock also penned the tune "Do You Love Me" for a little show called "Fiddler on the Roof." Anyway, the Huntington Theatre Company is staging "She Loves Me," about two feuding store clerks who don't know they're anonymous pen pals. If the plot sounds familiar, it may be because the play it's based on, "Parfumerie," also inspired the film "You've Got Mail." This Huntington Theatre Company production (with Kate Baldwin and Brooks Ashmanskas, right) is the final curtain call for artistic director Nicholas Martin. "Tonight at Eight," a tune from the show, is also tonight's show time. Runs through June 15. $15-$75. Boston University Theatre, 264 Huntington Ave. 617-266-0800. huntingtontheatre.org
