We're a bit greened out these days, but the offbeat ArtBeat Festival in Davis Square has us happily peering through our green-tinted glasses. This year's festival of music, theater, dance, and art has a green theme, including tomorrow's exhibit on sustainable housing and Green Brigade Parade (starting at 5:15 p.m.). Festivities kick off tonight at 6 with They Gotta Be Secret Agents, a performance of acrobatics, puppetry, and dance, followed by the retro-futuristic Freezepop (above) at 8:15, and hip-hop artist Akrobatic at 9:15. Tomorrow, you can peruse 100 craft and art vendors (check out Carrie Kan's henna body art), family activities, food vendors, and a Free Hugs Booth with Somerville's Adam Azia (he'll spread the love near the Holland Street exit of the Davis Square T stop). Tonight 6-10 p.m. (rain date Saturday), tomorrow 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (rain date Sunday) $3 suggested donation. Davis Square, Somerville. 617-625-6600 ext. 2985. somervilleartscouncil.org
