Globe Staff / July 22, 2008

There's a lot of ground to cover tonight at SLAMBoston, and it will all be covered in 10-minute intervals. The festival, presented by Another Country Productions and Company One, features nine short plays celebrating diversity. Pieces include Daniel Keleher's "Robosaurus," about two straight men who ponder the benefits of becoming gay, and Barbara Lindsay's "Here to Serve You," about two guys dealing with an enthusiastic airport security officer. (At right, performer Keith Mascoll). Watch carefully, because the plays will be judged by special guests - you - and the winning production is awarded a $100 prize. 8 p.m. $17. Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont St., Boston. 617-933-8600. bostontheatrescene.com
