We wouldn't trade our collection of inexpensive hoop earrings for anything in the world. OK, maybe for some sensuous art nouveau jewelry by Louis Zorra, Louis Aucoc (above), Louis Comfort Tiffany, or René Lalique. We can peruse our options at the MFA's "Imperishable Beauty: Art Nouveau Jewelry," an exhibit of scrumptious nature-themed bling from the turn of the 20th century. The new exhibit displays the pieces - often embellished with pearls, opals, molded horn, ivory, gold, and sapphires - in categories of Flora, Fauna, the Female Figure, and Art Nouveau in America. Today from 10 a.m.-9:45 p.m. (through Nov. 9). $17, $15 seniors and students 18 and older, free under 18 during non-school hours and for all on Wednesday after 4 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Hunting-ton Ave. 617-267-9300. mfa.org
