Decades of awful band logos notwithstanding, musicians and art often collide with interesting results. Like the folks at New Alliance Audio Group, celebrating their 20th year with an art show featuring works by the staffers' "3 Factory" collective. Tonight's opening includes mixed-media, action canvases, hardcore photos, new lighting designs, and an acoustic set by Bacchus King. 7-9 p.m. (show up through Sept. 30). Free. Sherman Café, 257 Washington St., Union Square, Somerville. 617-776-4944. [Tristram Lozaw]
