Don't have tickets to see the five not-so New Kids on the Block doing their pop thing at the TD Banknorth Garden tonight? Check out the five performers from OperaHub doing their musical theater and opera thing in Cambridge. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Opera" is an evening of opera and show tunes in a cabaret setting. We couldn't get the troupe to reveal their program, so we'll make one up. How about "The Barber of Seville" and "Sweeney Todd"? "La Boheme" and "Rent"? 8 p.m. (Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Brookline Public Library). Free. Christ Church Cambridge, ZeroGarden St., Cambridge. 617-821-8515. www.operahub.org
