Rachel Rosenfield Lafo, formerly the longtime director of curatorial affairs at the DeCordova Museum, is the guest curator responsible for the South Shore Art Center's "National Drawing Show," which opens tonight. As the show's title suggests, the display is all drawings, but Lafo chose works that feature a range of styles, from realism to cartoonish. The show includes local artist Holly Bedrosian's "A New Day" and Ryan Roth's timely drawing "Greed (Seven Deadly Sins Series)." Reception tonight from 6 to 8. Free. Show up through Dec. 31. South Shore Art Center, 119 Ripley Road, Cohasset, 781-383-2787. www.ssac.org
