Atlantic Works Gallery wisely waited until December - the 12th month of the year - to opens its exhibition "12," which celebrates the number and all of its meanings. Works include Karen Kemp's painting of a dozen donuts (below), and Maureen O'Connor's painting "3 Lollipops." Not surprisingly, the dimensions of that one are 12 inches x 12 inches.
