Last year we interviewed Kathy St. George at Marshall's, a favorite haunt of both of ours. A fan approached the Boston actress, and with a little encouragement from us, St. George broke out into a Judy Garland song. "Dear Miss Garland" is St. George's "love letter," a one-woman musical tribute written by St. George and director Scott Edmiston. Through anecdotes and songs, St. George follows Garland's life from her stage debut to her 1961 comeback at Carnegie Hall. Tonight at 7:30 (through June 28). $40, $35 seniors, $20 students. Stoneham Theatre, 395 Main St., Stoneham. 781-279-2200. www.stonehamtheatre.org
